It's Simple...Run, walk or wheel up to 5km around the Barony and along Sandford Road. You can do as much or as little as you choose. It is free and all are welcome to join me.
This month's Dash is in support of SheServed:
"SheServed is a support and social group created to address a deeply overlooked reality: female veterans are often forgotten.
Despite facing the same physical and emotional challenges as their male counterparts — from trauma and injury to isolation and identity loss — women who have served in the armed forces frequently go unseen in conversations around veteran support. SheServed was created to change that.
This group provides a safe, welcoming environment where women veterans can come together to share their experiences, support one another, and rebuild connection through social events, peer support, and shared activities. It’s more than a group — it’s a sisterhood built on understanding, trust, and lived experience.
Founded in March 2025 by Zoë Robson, a veteran who served 12 years in the British Army, SheServed is rooted in lived experience. Zoë knows first-hand the pride of wearing the uniform — and the challenges that can come after. Her mission is to ensure no woman who served ever feels invisible or alone.
By offering this space, SheServed helps women navigate the often difficult transition to civilian life while celebrating their service and identity. It’s about being heard, being seen, and being part of something again."
Listening to feedback, this Dabber's Dash is to encourage wider ability levels in the form of tiers. As ever there is One Route, One inclusive finish BUT - Three Ways to Shine
🟡 Do 1 Lap – “Find Your Feet”
Perfect for beginners, anyone easing back into fitness or those wanting to find a way to join in. One lap to enjoy the buzz of the morning!
🔵 Do 2 Laps – “Find Your Flow”
A great middle-ground for those who want a bit more movement or who find 3 laps a bit too much.
🔴 Do 3 Laps – “Find Your Fire”
For those chasing a 5k PB challenge, regular runners go the distance and let that fire burn bright!
All are welcome and the more walkers that come to the Dash the merrier. It is fine to walk one loop with the dog/kids too so long as you are responsible for them 😊
Dabbers Dash also has a Strava segment now so you can practice/train/compete in your own time too to challenge yourself even more
