A beautiful journey up this snow-capped mountain of East Africa right at the Equator. Mount Kenya is one of the places every human should visit at least once in a lifetime. It offers a wholesome experience of fun, connection and self-discovery. Mount Kenya Batian Climb via the North Face especially is probably Africa's most technical climb.
Day 1: Nairobi Sirimon Gate – Old Moses Camp
8.00am: Depart Nairobi for Nanyuki
12.00pm: Arrive at Sirimon gate
3.00pm Drive up to Old Moses Camp
6.00pm: Settle in Camp
Day 2: Old Moses Camp- Shipton Camp
8.00 am; Depart Old Moses for Shipton Camp
1.00pm Arrive at Shipton Camp
Restful afternoon and evening at Shipton
Day 3: Shipton Camp - Point Peter/ Lenana Peak- Shipton Camp
8.00am: Leave Shipton Camp for Point Peter for acclimatisation/ Point Lenana
11.00 am Arrive at Point Lenan and soon head back to Camp
Afternoon rest and spend the night at Shipton Camp
Day 4: Weather Buffer Day
Attempt Batian Peak
4.00am Depart Shipton Hut for the high Peaks
9.00am: Arrive Amphi Theatre
1.30pm: Arrive at Batian
2.00pm Start your descent
6.00 pm Back At Shipton Hut
Day 5: Shipton Camp- Old Moses Camp to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will start your way down Old Moses Camp where we finish your hike. Along the trail, just turn and look back to where you came from a clear of the Mount Kenya Batian Climb from Mackinders Valley. You are expected at the Old Moses at 11.30am where we board our transfer vehicle to Nairobi
Of Note:
The climb is very dependent on the weather and we shall only leave Nairobi when we have about 90% chance of good weather for the climb.
The final call on the safety of the climb is on the climbing guide. A guide may call off the climb if the weather is not conducive

If we cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, 50% of the fee will be charged.
If we cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
No-shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
