CADIS KENYA invites you for a community clean-up exercise and project launching in Mathare 4A. 100 youths drawn from the area who engages in garbage collection have come together to form a network group named UTALII ZERO WASTE ALLIANCE, a vehicle which will spearhead a waste management project.
The project will be launched on Friday 25th July 2025, at Mathare 4A field, and will involve a clean up exercise of the streets, drainages and rivers. During this exercise, we will be sensitizing the community of the importance of keeping our environment clean using the hashtag #zerowaste.
We thank our partners in this initiative: Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, Camillian Disaster Service International, Servants of the Sick (Camillians Kenya), Mathare 4A residents, the offices of environment-Utalii ward-Nairobi County and the local CBOs.
