Take a trip to the Southwest with this wonderful collection of culinary dishes that will inspire you. Braised Beef Tacos paired with a Mexican corn (Elote) salad are some of the traditional meals served in the Southwest. Enjoy some spicy Avocado and zesty salsa and finish this off with Tequila infused Churros with dark chocolate sauce. This class will surely inspire you to take a trip to the southwest.
Braised Beef Tacos – Slow-braised beef, shredded and served in warm corn tortillas with pickled red onions, cotija cheese, and a smoky chipotle crema.
Mexican Street Corn (Elote) Salad – Grilled corn off the cob, tossed with mayo, lime, cotija cheese, and a hint of chili powder.
Spicy Avocado & Tomato Salsa –avocado and cherry tomatoes mixed with fresh cilantro, lime, and a kick of jalapeño. Served with hand fried chips.
Tequila-Infused Churros with Spiced Chocolate Sauce – Crispy churros dusted with cinnamon sugar, served with a dark chocolate sauce infused with a touch of tequila and cayenne.
Wine Tasting Included
At Kitch, our cooking classes are a hands-on experience. You won’t just watch from the sidelines, you’ll break into groups, and actively prepare the night’s menu, with each group handling a different recipe. No matter what your skill level, you’ll be able to learn new techniques as Chef Amanda helps everyone individually, as well as addressing the group as a whole during the process of preparing the menu! You’ll be able to interact with the other groups to learn new prep and cooking techniques as well! Once the menu has been cooked, you will sit down as a group at our elegant farm table and enjoy a glass of wine, and a sit-down dinner from fantastic meal you have created! Classes are limited to 6 to 8 people, and run between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the menu and class size. All recipes will be provided to every participant. If, in order to save time, Chef Amanda has prepared some items from the menu ahead of time, she will be sure to explain the process to all. All recipes will be provided to every participant.
**Complimentary wine tasting will be provided, and you are also welcome to bring your own beverages (BYOB).**
