Introduction to Dune Ecology

🌾 How do dunes form? Why are they special and what lives in them?

Join us at Dune Harbor Park Muskegon County and learn all about Great Lakes Dunes! Local outdoor educator and naturalist Spencer High will guide us through one of Muskegon County’s most unique ecosystems.

🔍 Learn about:

- How dunes form and change over time

- The important role plants play in dune ecosystems

- The wildlife that lives among the shifting sands

- And more!

3071 Lincoln St., Norton Shores (main parking lot)

🌧️ Rain or shine – please dress in warm layers!
🚗 Parking: A Muskegon County Parks pass is required.

$7 day pass or $25 season pass (available by credit card at the kiosk or in cash from the Park Ranger)
