Rooted in rhythm and driven by cultural exchange, this high-octane ensemble fuses the fiery soul of Balkan brass with the improvisational flair of Indian classical, jazz, and contemporary sounds. Drawing from traditions that span continents, Shivam & The Gypsies delivers an energetic, genre-fluid experience that feels both rooted and radically fresh.
At the heart of the group is Shivam, whose commanding voice brings Indian folk and classical traditions into conversation with the spirit of Gypsy music. He’s joined by Lior on drums, Rash on clarinet, Kartikeya on guitar, Meissam on the kamanche, and Bijit on bass—each a distinct voice in a shared musical conversation. With members hailing from across the globe, their performances are a celebration of connection, culture, and pure musical joy.
