RJ 101 Mic Check Madness

Turn up the volume on creativity as kids dive into the world of radio – crafting their own show, finding their RJ voice, and having a blast on the mic.  Ever wondered what it’s like to be a Radio Jockey? This introductory workshop is a playful dive into the world of voice, performance, and the personality behind the mic. Led by an experienced Radio Jockey and voice coach with over 8 years in stations like Radio Mirchi and Fever FM, the session covers RJ essentials such as voice modulation, articulation, scripting, and segment creation. Kids will pick their own fun RJ names, learn how to build a mini radio show, and enjoy the spotlight in a short solo performance.  

Through games, group work, and interactive demos, they’ll explore what makes an RJ engaging—from delivering jokes and weather updates to handling imaginary callers. The session wraps with a team challenge and fun RJ badges to celebrate each child’s on-air moment. Whether or not actively interested in the field, this fun exercise will help children build confidence, creative expression, and communication skills.
