Intro to Paper Embroidery - Bookmarks

Discover the art of stitching on paper in this beginner-friendly workshop focused on making your own embroidered bookmarks.

Join us for a relaxed evening of creative play as we explore the basics of paper embroidery—no experience necessary. You’ll learn how to transfer patterns, work simple but striking stitches, and layer vibrant threads onto sturdy cardstock to create eye-catching, functional pieces of art.

This class focuses on mastering essential techniques through four distinct bookmark designs: straight lines, curves, weaves, and combination patterns. It’s a perfect introduction to embroidery for those who love detail, texture, and the joy of handwork.

All materials are included, from pre-cut cardstock and templates to embroidery floss, needles, and tools. You’ll leave with several finished bookmarks and the skills to keep stitching on your own.
