Puppy Kindergarten Open Enrollment is a new concept that we are we found success with in 2024. With every changing chaos in our lives, sometimes the traditional 6 week class is not ideal. Every week will go over a combination of the skills to be learned over the course of the 6 weeks. This is a course for puppies 6-24 weeks of age.
Online material and videos will be available to you with the course fee. Before attending a class, you are required to complete the introduction video that is available in our online courses. Once enrolled in the course, you will select the six dates you want to attend.

Impulse Control
Relaxation
Luring Behaviors such as "sit", "down", and "stand"
Socialization
Cooperative Care
Beginning Leash work
House Training, Crate Training, and Appropriate Training Tools
Fun Games!
If you are looking for help with something beyond that scope or more personalized training, then individual lessons are a better option for you and can be scheduled. If unsure, please ask.
Additional options are available when signing up for the class:
*AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Option - Attend an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class for at least 6 weeks. Your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, you’ll get an application to send to AKC® for enrollment in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. All dogs are welcome to participate in the program including purebreds and mixed breeds.
There are four forms to be submitted as well: Hold Harmless Form, Social Media Consent, a Vaccine Verification, and a COVID-19 Waiver. These forms can be found under our Services tab in an online format or PDF version.
We highly recommend coming to all 6 classes over the 9 week period. If you need additional help with the curriculum you can schedule a (paid) private lesson. A minimum of 4 classes is required to graduate to the next class. This class is available to repeat again if you feel your puppy is not ready to move on. You can use a package to split between puppies, but one session is used for each puppy.
