VENUS is a new showcase series for women, and our mission is to elevate all who identify as women in the music industry.
VENUS, being the planet of love and creative expression helps us tune into our inner wisdom and trust our instincts. It values kindness over competition, compassion over comparison, and empowerment over ego. VENUS is co-founded by the record label and publishing company for women World Peach Records along with award winning artist, entrepreneur and activist Tess Posner from San Francisco. The first VENUS showcase took place March 8th on International Women’s Day at The Lost Church, and is making it debut in Morgantown, WV at The Encore on Aug 23rd, 2025, featuring host singer-songwriter Cassidy Dickens along with Grace Campbell and Emily Lehr.
Cassidy Dickens:

Grace Campbell:
Hailing from West Virginia, Grace Campbell brings her unique charm to the music scene. Her captivating songwriting and magnetic personality have garnered her a dedicated fan base both locally and on social media.
Grace has transcended the Appalachian region with her music. She continues to grow her regional fanbase through live appearances, a strong social media presence, and the genuine connection she makes with her audience. Her live appearances have included working with notable artists such as: Kathy Mattea, Kidd G, Avery Anna, Philip Bowen, Kassi Valazza, The Plain White T’s, and Melissa Etheridge.

Emily Lehr:
A native West Virginian, Emily Lehr finds comfort in the tradition of her Appalachian roots while
maintaining her own spin on her sound. Borrowing the storytelling traditions and mellow timbres
of Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell, Emily sings to the current generation while incorporating echoes
of the past in addition to finding inspiration in modern influences such as Lizzy McAlpine and
Jensen McRae in tone and introspective songwriting.
