Join us for an evening of storytelling, resilience, and ecological wisdom as Coastal Carolina Riverwatch presents the next installment of our Cultural Perspectives Series: Balance, Resilience, and Indigenous Wisdom.
Our featured speaker is Gray Michael Parsons, founder of the Secotan Alliance, descendant of the Machapunga-Mattamuskeet people, and author of Hope on Hatterask and Pampico Blue. Gray will share powerful reflections on Indigenous heritage, leadership, and traditional ecological knowledge—offering timely insight into the values of balance and sustainability that have guided Indigenous communities for generations.
This free event is a unique opportunity for community members, educators, students, and environmental professionals to connect with an Indigenous leader whose work uplifts both ancestral heritage and contemporary advocacy. Registration is required.
