Brian Campbell - "Let's Talk" Album Launch

Join us for the launch of “Let’s Talk” my third full-length album on Thursday, June 19, 6-8pm (doors: 5) at Mariposa… le cafe, 5562 Upper Lachine Road. RSVP Victor 514-699-5951. I will be accompanied by Daniella Carbert (trumpet), Zoë Just (flute), Jeff Deeprose (violin), Phil Peters (bass) and our own Mariposa Victor (electric guitar). JB Demouy, a friend and wonderful singer-songwriter, will perform a warmup set.

About “Let's Talk”: it’s is a cycle of thirteen songs that focusses on communication - both tender and fraught - in love, politics and the world at large.

One focus single on the album, “I Saw You Going Out Today” has gotten not only 5K + views on YouTube, but glowing and insightful reviews in such publications as Record World International, Tinnitist, and Canadian Beats. “Planet on Fire”, another focus single, has also gotten highly enthusiastic reviews in Find Your Sounds and Blues Grec, which also features an interview about the making of that song.
