An Evening of Rest & Radiance Fundraiser Dinner

Join us for An Evening of Rest & Radiance, a black-tie fundraiser dinner dedicated to raising awareness and support for mental health initiatives in the River Region. This special evening will take place at Venue 901, offering an elegant atmosphere for connection, advocacy, and action.

Indulge in a thoughtfully curated dinner by Nick Jernigan and Davena McRae of Café Verde, featuring a menu designed to nourish both body and soul.

Our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Karen Brown, will share her expertise on mental health advocacy, cultural inclusivity, and trauma psychology. As a dedicated academic, community leader, and founder of Infinity LINC International and Crestview Unlimited, Dr. Brown’s work focuses on fostering strong, supportive communities with an emphasis on Black, Indigenous, and diverse ethnic groups.

This event is an opportunity to build a stronger network of mental health advocates while directly contributing to vital resources for individuals in need throughout the River Region.

Your contribution will directly support the following key areas:

• Counseling Services: Providing free or low-cost counseling sessions to individuals who cannot afford them.
• Educational Workshops: Organizing workshops to educate the community about mental health, coping strategies, and reducing stigma.
• Support Groups: Facilitating support groups where individuals can share their experiences and receive emotional support.
• Outreach Programs: On-Site Mental Health Screenings, Art therapy sessions for children and adults to build resilience and to promote expression to deal with mental health, and School Suicide Prevention training.
