Celebrate summer with a full day of live jazz by the sea at Montauk Jazz Day, held on the scenic grounds of the historic Second House Museum. This free outdoor event brings together two world-class ensembles for an unforgettable afternoon of Latin, swing, and soul-infused jazz.
Richard Baratta’s Gotham City Latin/Jazz Sextet:
Led by Grammy-nominated drummer and film producer Richard Baratta, this high-energy sextet reimagines iconic movie themes through vibrant Latin rhythms and dynamic jazz improvisation.
Ada Rovatti Organ Trio:
Internationally acclaimed saxophonist Ada Rovatti leads a powerhouse trio blending modern jazz, funk, and soul. Featuring the rich tones of the Hammond organ, their groove-forward sound is bold, expressive, and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.
About the Venue:
Built in 1797, the Second House Museum is Montauk’s oldest surviving structure. Now a beloved gathering space operated by the Montauk Historical Society, its expansive lawn offers a beautiful and historic setting for live music and community events.
