MSC Fitness Clinic "Physical Activity vs. Exercise Training"

If you are new to the fitness center or simply would like to break up the monotony of your exercise routine, we are here to help you make this transition by educating you on the many different ways you can improve your overall fitness. In addition to the variety of assessments, orientations, and programming that we offer to you as part of your membership, we also provide how-to clinics designed to teach you how to do exercises safely, help you stay motivated, and add variety to a workout. There is an on-going debate in the health and fitness industry about what counts as physical activity and what counts as exercise training. What movements would be in which category? Join us for this month’s Fitness Clinic to discuss the difference between physical activity and exercise and how using both are beneficial for the active aging adult!
