Kim Smolen, educator and native plant enthusiast, has turned her own front yard—and part of her CPS school’s lawn on Chicago’s South Side—into buzzing, blooming pollinator habitats. Inspired by her love of pollinators, Kim is excited to share what she’s learned along the way. In this class, she’ll help you get started turning your own patch of grass into a thriving, eco-friendly space.
