This isn’t just an art show - it’s a celebration of creativity, inclusion and access. The Ability to Create program is all about making art open to everyone, and showing how powerful it can be when people of all abilities come together.

We’re shining a light on hidden disabilities and making space for everyone to be seen - on their own terms.
What should I expect?
Step into the Hobart Town Hall Ballroom and experience a stunning mix of portraits, soundscapes and projections. Each face tells a story - created by artists who choose how they want to be seen.
Our mentors
Guided by artists Lorenz Cherry, Jude Elliot and Cary Littleford, this exhibition showcases work from artists of all abilities.
Why it matters?
This free event gives a voice to people with disability through art. It’s about breaking down barriers, challenging stereotypes, and showing the beauty of diverse experiences.
