Weβre inviting the community to help shape the future of the Droughty Peninsula.
The Droughty Peninsula Structure Plan has reached an important milestone, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate with landowners and the wider community to create a vibrant, well-connected urban area that reflects the character and potential of this special part of Tasmania. This plan is about more than just development. Itβs about building communities with real choices in housing, transport, and recreation.
A community drop-in session will be held at Howrah Community Centre, Sunshine Room. These sessions are informal and open to everyone. Members of our project team will be available to talk through the plans, answer questions, and discuss the ideas shaping the future of the Peninsula.
Visitors will also be able to view the draft plans, pick up a copy of the background report, and access the community survey. While paper copies will be available, we encourage people to complete the survey online through the project website.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn more about the project and speak directly with the people behind it.
