Bookmans Flagstaff Summer Kids Events: “Musical Instrument Petting Zoo”with Flagstaff Community Band

School’s out and the fun is on! Bookmans is excited to bring the joy of reading, creativity, and community to kids all summer long with our free Summer Kids Events. Designed for children of all ages, these events offer hands-on activities, special guests, live performances, and more—encouraging imagination and discovery in a welcoming space. Whether it’s crafts, science experiments, or storytime adventures, there’s always something exciting happening at your local Bookmans.

Strike up the band and explore the world of music! On Wednesday, June 25th at 1 PM, Bookmans Flagstaff hosts a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo with the Flagstaff Community Band. Kids will get hands-on with real instruments, learn how they work, and even try playing a few notes themselves! It’s a fun, interactive way to discover the joy of music—perfect for curious minds and future musicians alike. 🎺🥁🎶
