Intermediate Bachata: A 4-Week Series

We are starting a 4-week INTERMEDIATE Bachata series on Thursday, June 5! Only 20 spots available. Do not wait to register - reach out to reserve your spot today. We hope you join us! Note - this is an INTERMEDIATE class. You need to have some experience to join this class, whether you took our beginner cycle or you've learned elsewhere previously.

How does it work?

We will meet every Thursday from 8-9pm at Sonshine's Royal Ballroom from June 5-26. So the dates are: June 5, June 12, June 19, and June 26.

What will I learn?

Regardless of if you are a Lead or a Follow, you will learn intermediate steps of Modern Bachata. Intermediate footwork steps, partner positions, turns, essential cues, musicality, and some more difficult movements in Bachata.

Do I need a partner to join?

You don't need a partner to join the class. You will rotate during the class switching partners, so you learn how to dance with different Leads and Follows. However, if you sign up as a couple and only want to dance with your partner, you can also do that! Whatever you feel comfortable with.

Will you be able to focus on me?

We are limiting our class to 20 students so that we can prioritize each student. Our goal is to ensure everyone in the class gets enough attention and properly learns. The objective is that by the end of the 4-week series, you feel you have enough tools to lead or follow a bachata song as a more intermediate dancer and build that confidence to continue growing from there. We will also do our best to ensure the class is balanced (similar number of follows and leads) so that nobody is standing out for multiple turns. Our focus will be quality, not quantity.

What is the cost?

The cost of the 4-week series is $50, which is like $12 per class. Refreshments will be provided. You can send payment in advance via Eventbrite or through Venmo to Sara Schall to secure your spot. Price goes up to $60 if purchased at the door.
