Discover the exhilarating thrill of Raku pottery! As you shape
and glaze your unique forms, you will learn to fire your very
own pieces using this fascinating and ancient Japanese
technique. Experience the dramatic and almost magical
process of pulling red-hot ceramics from the kiln, placing
them in a reduction atmosphere, then pieces are removed
and quenched in water. This class is perfect for those with
some clay experience, so come embrace the beauty of
imperfection and let your creativity shine! Price includes
supplies and firing fees. Instructor will give handout on all
safety requirements needed during firing at time of class.
