Women Who Whiskey X Brother Justus: Distillery Tour and Tasting

Join us, Wednesday, May 21st for our Women Who Whiskey event at Brother Justus!

If you've been with us for awhile, you may remember the first event we did with this distillery in their former NE location. We're excited to be welcomed back for a second event in their larger expanded space!

A little bit about the distillery:

During Prohibition, a real-life Minnesota monk named Brother Justus built copper stills and taught farmers the fine art of making whiskey. Fast-forward to today, and his rebellious spirit lives on in every sip of Brother Justus American Single Malt Whiskey.

Inspired by their namesake, Brother Justus doesn’t follow rules, they follow flavor. That means no made-up folklore, buying another distillery’s whiskey and bottling up as their own, or adding fake flavors to give whiskey depth and character. Just painstakingly handcrafted American Single Malt, 100% distilled by them at their state-of-the-art distillery in Northeast Minneapolis, using nothing but 100% malted barley, aging in custom charred white oak barrels, and peat that’s sourced with respect for the land. From the bright, crisp, Silver Whiskey to the rich, smooth expression of their American Single Malt, to the world’s first — and only — Cold-Peated® Whiskey, you have to taste it to believe it!

The event also offers guests:

• A cash bar option throughout the evening with limited-edition drinks created for Women Who Whiskey members featuring the whiskey expressions tasted during the event
• A Meat and Cheese platter OR Cheese (vegetarian) platter available to purchase on-site for $20/plate.

Because of the size of attendance and the capacity of the distillation room, members will be divided into smaller groups upon arrival and rotate through the distillery tour and tasting sessions. There will be time at the end for all guests to convene in the main cocktail lounge for additional drinks and socializing.

The nature of our chapter membership focuses on the consumption of products that require guests to be 21+ years of age. Because of this, we ask that all guests in attendance meet a 21-year age minimimum.
