Saturday Long Run - Fleet Feet - Summer Training Preview #3

Join Run Minnesota Summer Training for the first Saturday Long Run of the 2025 summer season. This is an opportunity to preview a training session, meet coaches, team leads and learn more about the training programs.

Meet at Fleet Feet Minneapolis for warmups and coach announcements about pace groups, routes and water stops. There will be post-run opportunities to ask coaches questions about the Run Minnesota Summer Training program.

Location: Fleet Feet Mpls

Who: This run is free and open to everyone

When: 7:00am

What: 7-15 miles with an optional workout of 4-8 pickups of 5min at a moderate effort throughout the run

Why: A long run is a great way to build your aerobic base for a Fall Marathon or Half Marathon. It can take 6-8 weeks for your body to gain fitness from these runs so this it’s important to start early and be consistent.
