Raison d'Etre Opera - The Mother of Us All

This unique and acclaimed opera, performed at the former headquarters of the Suffragist Movement, explores the heroic life and work of Susan B. Anthony in her fight for women’s right to vote. Music by Virgil Thomson, and libretto by Gertrude Stein. With Sonja Thompson, music director, Wendy Knox, stage director, Debra Gilroy as Susan B. Anthony, ensemble cast and orchestra.
