Music in the Parks: Southern Resident Killer Whales

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.

This week at Minnehaha Parks we are hosting Southern Resident Killer Whales, an acoustic-driven alternative rock band. They are a Minneapolis-based group who released their Wave Forms EP in January of 2025. Minneapolis Music in the Parks is generally the one exception to their general m.o. of playing brewery stages.
