Juneteenth Brunch & Conversation with Sherrilyn Ifill

Join us on Thursday, June 19th to hear from Sherrilyn Ifill who is the current Vernon Jordan Professor of Law of Civil Rights at Howard University School of Law and was the former President and Director–Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. (LDF). Her book, On the Courthouse Lawn: Confronting the Legacy of Lynching in the 21st Century, is credited with laying the foundation for contemporary conversations about lynching and racial reconciliation. She is also a frequent commentator on affirmative action, policing, judicial nominees, and the United States Supreme Court.
