MAY DAY FESTIVAL

Celebrate the arrival of summer at East Quay this May Bank Holiday! Join us for an afternoon and evening packed with music, dancing, local crafts, and fantastic food & drink, as we welcome the season of sunshine and mark Beltane.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
- Maker Activities/Demos: 3–5pm
Get creative in a family friendly kids workshop making paper flower crowns
Get hands-on with craft demos – from bowl turning to wool weaving and nettle cordage making.
- Maypole Dancing: 3:30–4:30pm
Dance around the Maypole and soak up the festival atmosphere.
- May Day Blessing: 5pm
A May Day blessing to celebrate the changing seasons.
- Ceilidh: From 6pm onwards
Round off the night with a lively Céilidh – no experience needed, just bring yourselves.
- Food & Drink: Served throughout the day
BBQ and cider (most likely!)

LOCATION: East Quay Courtyard
