🇵🇸 🪁 MARCH TO GAZA - MILWAUKEE'S SISTER MARCH 🪁🇵🇸
From June 12-20, thousands are gathering in Egypt for the "March To Gaza” initiative, a global citizen-led movement advocating for humanitarian access to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing. Milwaukee will join this call to action on June 14 to amplify the demands of the march. GAZA IS BEING STARVED AND THE URGENCY OF THIS MOMENT REQUIRES CONTINUED COLLECTIVE ACTION.
✊ All abilities and participation levels welcome! Whether or not you can join the march, please join us for the 3:00PM rally. The march will start & end in the same spot, and anyone not marching is encouraged to stay at the park until the march returns.
📍 Veterans Park, 1300 N Lincoln Memorial Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53202 (near the Gift of Wings Kite Store)
🕒 Saturday, June 14 at 3:00PM
🚶➡️ Route will be approximately 3 miles long in total and shorter distances will be an option.
🚗 Parking may be scarce - carpooling encouraged.
🚌 CN1, 33, 30, GRE - several bus lines available!
🪁 This is a family-friendly event: kites encouraged and can be purchased nearby.
