STILL NOT DEPORTED YET ! - English stand-up comedy

Ciao Milano! This October 3rd, Friday, we bring you ' (STILL) NOT DEPORTED YET' - a night of comedy, choas, and charm from our very own, 'techncially international, but emotionally local' comedians - Stephen Duranske and Vamshi Damagatla.

As an American and an Indian living in Milan, join us as we hop through our twists and tales of navigating life in Milan - through metro mishaps, University lectures, comedy open mics, spritzy aperitivos, and, not to forget, immigration appointments. A night that every true Milanese might either laugh or cry about, but will definetly relate to. As a special finale, we will wrap up with a News feature segment of our version of 'Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update' (well, technically its Friday, which means its Saturday anyway), where you can expect the latest news and headlines, reinterpreted through the biased, confused, and very funny lens of two expat comedians.

About the comedians

Stephen Duranske

24 year old Stephen Duranske is an American from Maryland, now 'surviving' in Milan. By day, he studies architecture at Poltitecnico di Milano and works as a freelance designer, but by night, he's Milan's comedy Batman, saving people and making them laugh through his hilarious jokes, stories, and impressions. With many years of theatre and improv experience under his belt, he has now become an integral part of the English comedy and 'IMPROV' scene of Milan and has performed for various showcases over the past year. Expect tales that will make roll laughing and improv repartee that will have you clapping!

Vamshi Damagatla

27 year old Vamshi Damagatla is an Indian who moved to Milan for his PhD in Physics from Politecnico di Milano. Unfortunately, rather than write research articles, he spends more time writing jokes on physics, PhD, India and Italy. With many years of theatre experience, he has has been part of several productions in India and Milan. Apart from performing stand-up comedy in English and Italian in Milan, he has performed in Barcelona, Ireland, USA, Germany and India, and has opened for various visiting comedians in Milan.
