Embodied Soul: Movements That Heal with Christopher Campbell

Since time immemorial, human beings have turned to Dance as a way to know the self, express the inexpressible, gather in community, evolve paradigms, and align with the Cosmos and the Divine.

In this experimental laboratory of safe and sacred space, we will engage embodied practice across somatic, expressive, contemplative, and performative dimensions—through solo, partner, and group activities designed to catalyze awareness, healing, empowerment, and collective creativity.

Inspired by dance-artists of both ancient ceremonial lineages and contemporary movements, we will approach Dance as a medium for transforming personal challenges and collective turmoil into visions of possibility and pathways of liberation.

This is an open and inclusive space, welcoming embodied beings and movers of all capacities, experience levels, and backgrounds. In order to support the safety, intimacy, and depth of the space, please strive to arrive on time. Doors close 10 minutes after class begins.

Christopher Campbell, MA, RMT, is the director of Sösomā and the creator of the Dance::Formation Process and The 13 Principles of Embodied Formation. He guides artist-leaders in cultivating personal and cultural healing through performance grounded in spiritual discernment, embodied coherence, and systems leadership. www.sosoma.org
