Creative Approaches to Functional Pottery Workshop with Gay Smith

We’re thrilled to welcome renowned potter Gay Smith to the Folk Art Guild for a two-day, hands-on workshop exploring creative approaches to functional pottery. Known for her expressive porcelain forms and single-firing techniques, Gay will guide participants through throwing, altering, and surface decoration to bring energy and movement into their work.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from a master potter in an intimate setting, with plenty of one-on-one instruction and time to experiment. Whether you're looking to refine your skills or spark new ideas in your practice, this workshop promises to be both inspiring and dynamic.
