Come reset your mind, body, and soul as we join together in the Restorative Yoga Session in front of this beautiful stained glass window. We have partnered with Nourished at Middleburgh to bring you a yoga experience unlike anything you've witnessed before. This 45-minute session will include a guided meditation, breath work, and an optional Reiki gift. This isn't a strenuous physical exercise most Westerners associate with yoga, but an intentional, mindful practice designed to stretch your body, heart, and soul. The best part is that a portion of every ticket sold goes towards the building fund for Nourished at Middleburgh (UMC), helping to care for and preserve this sanctuary and its beautiful steeple that has been a beacon of hope for the Village of Middleburgh since 1870.
Restorative yoga is an incredibly gentle and nurturing form of yoga that emphasizes deep relaxation and rejuvenation! This class offers a serene atmosphere where you can fully embrace stillness and enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
What to Expect:
A wonderfully slow-paced practice with minimal movement
Comfortable, supported poses held for extended periods (5-10 minutes or more)
Use of props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to amplify support and relaxation
Focus on breathwork and mindfulness
Guided meditation or relaxation techniques

Provided with Ticket:
Yoga Mat, 1 yoga block, 1 small yoga pillow. Please bring any additional items, such as pillows or bolsters, as needed. Please wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing.
