June is here, and with it, the weather that makes Nivens dream about Hawaii. Fortunately, our friends at 916 Swing (and the event directors of the Aloha Open) are once again providing an opportunity for our Novice, Intermediate and Advanced dancers to win passes to the Aloha Open (
https://www.alohaopenwcs.com/)! So naturally, we are having our second All-Aloha tournament-style J&J, and Hawaiian-themed White Rabbit party!
As many of us are already aware, a very dear member of our community (Seth Meyer) was recently involved in a tragic and traumatic accident (learn more here:
https://www.prayersforseth.com/). In Hawaiian, "Ohana" means family, and we are committed to doing all we can for our Ohana. Therefore, all proceeds from this month's contest will go to Seth and his family. We will also be having a raffle to help raise funds (more details on the discussion page), as well as taking donations. Let's get as many "Bunnies for Ohana" this month as we possibly can!!!
Prizes for the All-Aloha contest ($10 entry fee):
1st - Aloha Open passes
2nd - White Rabbit West Coast passes
3rd - White Rabbit: Unplugged passes
The entire night is Hawaiian themed, which means dress in your best island/luautfit, and feel free to bring a Hawaiian snack to share (low-key Luau)!
8pm: All-Aloha Contest
9pm: White Rabbit Aloha Ohana Party

Also, per the CDC liquor license, no outside alcohol is permitted.
