Brain Health Initiative Launch Day

Join us for a day of cognitive wellness activities! Discover how to support better brain health through education, exercise, nutrition, and socializing.

Wednesday, July 23 | 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A Full Day of Powering Brains:
• 9:30 a.m. - Welcome & Introduction: Event overview with Dr. Sandra Peterson and our Executive Director

• 10:30 a.m. - Mind in Motion: Exercise to stimulate brain activity through physical movement with Montecito Healthcare

• 11:00 a.m. - Bright Board Moments: Brain games on the big screen smart board

• 11:30 a.m. - Nourish to Flourish: Lunch demonstration featuring avocado basil cucumber bites, lemon garlic butter baked cod with sweet potato puree and asparagus, plus Greek yogurt parfait

• 1:00 p.m. - Art Therapy Creative Sessions: Boho painting with calming music and drinks by Bohemian Art

• 2:00 p.m. - Jam and Jabber: Interactive ball toss question game with calming music

• 2:30 p.m. - Music with Peter Davis: Music and humor to stimulate thoughts, plus brain-healthy parfaits

• 3:30 p.m. - Sound Bath: Holistic healing with Tibetan singing bowls by Noble Hospice

• 4:30 p.m. - Final Connections: Closing remarks and raffle for attendees
