Monthly Queer Potluck

Dear all,

In these increasingly scary times, let's come together to share good food and build community.

All queer folk and their families are invited to this month’s queer potluck in Meriden. It’s this Friday from 6-8pm at UUCM (328 Paddock Ave, Meriden).

So that we have enough food and drink, please bring an entree and side dish or drink to share. Note: if you can’t afford to bring anything, your presence is more than enough!

We need folks who can come a wee bit early (5:30ish) to set up tables and chairs and get the kitchen ready. We will also need folks to volunteer setting out food in the kitchen and for cleanup towards the end. (Personally, I’ve found volunteering to be a great way to get to know folks!)

There’s usually no agenda for our time together. However, this month, our friend Donna would like to brainstorm how we can fight back against the Feds defunding of the Trevor Project’s suicide hotline for LGBTQIA youth. We’ll talk about this for part of the evening.
