A calming somatic breathwork session inspired by the healing frequency of lavender and the gentle rhythms of lush meadows.
In honor of Lavender Fest and the timeless wisdom of this sacred plant, this session invites you into a cocoon of calm, restoration, and ancient remembrance. Used since antiquity in Egyptian, Roman, and Greek healing traditions, lavender is far more than a soothing scent—it is a spiritual ally known for calming the nervous system, opening the heart, clearing emotional stagnation, and elevating the body’s energetic vibration.
Lavender has long symbolized peace, purity, and devotion. In energy medicine, it is associated with the heart and crown chakras—balancing emotions, restoring harmony, and gently reconnecting us to our inner essence and divine guidance.
Through breath, scent, and somatic stillness, we will draw upon lavender’s ancient gifts to soothe the overworked nervous system, soften anxious loops, and reawaken our body’s natural capacity for rest, healing, and heart-centered presence.
Practices:
Therapeutic breathwork infused with lavender essential oil to relax the vagus nerve and invite parasympathetic healing.
Natural eye pillows and lavender compresses to support deep surrender and sensory rest.
Gentle somatic movement to release tension from the shoulders, jaw, upper chest, and solar plexus—the areas where stress and self-protection often lodge.
Storytelling and reflection on lavender’s ancient role in spiritual rituals, grief rites, anointing oils, and emotional clearing across cultures.
Heart chakra meditation to restore emotional flow, ease heaviness, and deepen compassion toward self and others.
Guided visualization of blooming lavender fields, encouraging the mind to drift, invoking the breath to slow, and the body to soften.

Learn breath techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, conquer limiting beliefs, release stories that no longer serve you, process trauma, gain emotional clarity, reconnect with yourself, deepen your spirituality, and so much more. This session is typically done lying down on your mat. Feel free to bring a pen/journal and wear layered clothing for warmth. Blankets and bolsters will be provided for your comfort.
