Sweet AND Savory Apple Galettes : Bake with a Buddy

***This is a "buddy" class: one ticket covers you AND a buddy working together ***

You'll love creating two beautiful, tasty galettes with your buddy! The main "lesson" for this class is exploring how adapt foundation components (pastry, apples) to both sweet and savory applications. You and your buddy will work together to prepare your fillings, toppings, and assemble both sweet and a savory galettes. Class also includes a demonstration of how to make the pastry/dough.

In this class you'll:

• make a delicious frangipane filling from scratch (does contain nuts, but you & your buddy can opt-out of the frangipane, if desired)
• basic knife skills to prepare your produce
• build flavorful fillings, both sweet & savory
• learn how to make a flaky pastry (demo)
• have fun with other awesome students learning & baking together
• learn pro tips you can apply to a variety of similar recipes
• take home your delicious, fresh-from-the-oven bakes as well as the recipes for everything you made in class
• enjoy a guided tasting to learn the 5 steps to tasting like a pro!

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES

Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself. You will have your own work table and will complete the entire recipe... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!

Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company.

Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!

What about cancellations? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. If Muddy's must cancel the event for any reason, we will inform you asap and fully refund your ticket.
