Tonight, we celebrate the power of education, perseverance, and the brilliance of Black minds who fought for access to knowledge.
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of culture, community, and competition as we honor the legacy of HBCUs, Black educators, and the unsung heroes who advanced Black education throughout history, while testing your knowledge with fun and educational trivia!
Every month, we pop up at a Black-owned business in Memphis, and on August 1st, 2025, we’re taking over Shaunee’s Place—right next to A&R BBQ—for a night full of good vibes, great food, and even better company.
This month, we’re shining a light on the incredible impact of Black schools, institutions, and the people who broke down barriers for higher education.
Wear your school colors, rep your favorite HBCU gear, or rock your college tees! It’s all about celebrating the brilliance of Black education.
