Richard Townley – Performing Organ Transcriptions of Peter Sykes' transcription of Holst’s Planets and Dennis Janzer’s transcription of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition
A 2:30 discussion with Peter Sykes, (Zoom), Dennis Janzer and Richard Townley will explore what is involved in transcribing these orchestra and piano compositions to be playable on the organ. Questions welcomed.
The cathedral is handicap accessable, free secure parking. Reception following.
