Danielle Jenice Pierce
Danielle Jenice Pierce is an award-winning dancer and educator with over 15 years of training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Modern dance. A Memphis native, she began performing at age five and went on to compete across the Mid-South, earning numerous accolades.
She danced with the A-Team at Arkansas State University and discovered her passion for teaching at the Christie McNeil School of Dance. Danielle earned a BA in Journalism and Spanish with a Dance minor from the University of Memphis, where she also performed with the Memphis Redbirds RedHots.
A member of the Hot Foot Honeys Tap Dance Company since 2015, Danielle was named Most Innovative Tap Instructor of the Year in 2016. She earned her teaching certification through the American Tap Dance Foundation in 2021.
She currently teaches Tap, Jazz, and Creative Movement through Collage Dance Collective, Beth Cross Voice and Dance, and Tennessee Ballet Theater’s Frayser Dance Project. Danielle is passionate about making dance accessible to all children and continues to teach with joy and dedication.
Teaching dance is her passion—but tap is the rhythm of her soul and the heartbeat of her story.
