Prescriptions for GLP-1 receptor agonists like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro are rapidly increasing; extending far beyond weight loss to include conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cancer, menopause and even fertility. In this presentation, weāll explore why GLP-1s have become the fastest growing drug class, how they work and whatās driving consumer demand. Carla will also examine the key role complementary medicine practitioners can play in supporting patients through side effects, treatment sustainability and long-term health outcomes. Expect to dive into integrative strategies using nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle interventions to optimise care before, during and after GLP-1 therapy.

While our meetings began in Melbourneās inner north and have grown from those humble, community-centred beginnings, it feels like the right time for a new chapter.
Weāre deeply grateful for that history and everyone who has helped shape it. One thing weāve consistently heard over the years is the desire for livestreaming, so that regional and home-based practitioners can still connect, learn, and be part of the magic.
Weāve listened - and it's happening.
