About the Bartender

Kazuhisa Arai brings two decades behind the stick, classic Japanese precision, and

boundarypushing mixology. After winning the Jameson Bartender’s Ball World Mix Master

(2016), he joined Shingo Gokan to open Sober Company (Shanghai)—a venue that has climbed as high as No. 5 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars and earned “Best International Restaurant Bar” at Tales of the Cocktail.
