The Big Melbourne Kilt Run on The Tan bookings are open.
The Big Melbourne Kilt Run is a fun run/jog/walk on the famous Tan running track. Help make it a fun event and wear your kilt or an article of tartan clothing!
The course is 3.827kms with markers every 250m. Run clockwise from the start/finish at The Pillars of Wisdom (near the junction of Olympic Boulevard & Alexandra Ave) along the Tan Track. Course marshals will guide you along the course.
Check-in & race bib collection 9.00 - 10am. Groups assemble 10 - 10. 30.
Run start time - 10.30am. Full details will be forwarded following registration and are available on the Melbourne Tartan Festival website
Each race BIB will be fitted with a timing chip supplied by official timers, Tomato Timing. Participants’ event times will be available on the Tomato Timing website after the event and you can download a personalised certificate with your event time.
Entry: Adult $35, Concession $28,
Child 10-17 yrs - race BIB with timing chip $20, race BIB without timing chip $15.
Children under 10 Free entry - register to receive a participation certificate.
