Signals is back this month with another dreamy evening of ambient music, experimental sounds, and immersive listening upstairs at Kent St. This edition also marks the album launch for Daniel O’Toole’s beautiful new record Rose Oceans — come celebrate with us and get gently transported by these three incredible acts:

🎸 Taylor Crawford – Naarm-based musician and instrument tinkerer playing experimental instrumentals on hand-built guitars, basses, marimbas, and the mysterious Frello (a guitar/cello hybrid).
“Like wine gelato with musky chunks drizzled in old movie caramel served in an ashtray.”

🌫 Amakumo – A brand new duo from Amla Periakarpan and Brandon lee blending the delicate resonance of the koto with expressive vocals, Violin and multi-instrumentals. Haunting, beautiful, and totally transportive.

🌌 Daniel O’Toole – Hypnotic electro-acoustic soundscapes made with handmade instruments, dubby textures, and intricate rhythms. Deeply textural, deeply moving.
