J Clark Young Artist Recital, Anna Smith performs Pipe Organ Masterworks

J. Franklin Clark retired from Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in 2004 after serving 37 years as Minister of Music. During his tenure at Lewinsville it was said that in his work he emphasized the “minister” more than the “music.” To honor his lasting legacy of mentorship and nurturing of many young musicians, Lewinsville will host the annual J Clark Young Artists Concert as part of the Holy Happy Hour Concert Series in his honor.
Anna Smith, a Sophomore at Shenandoah Conservatory studying with Dr. Wayne Wold, will perform works by Duruflé, Pachelbel, Bach, Vierne, and Guilmant on Lewinsville's Gress-Miles/Lively-Fulcher instrument. The concert is free and open to all.
