Lunadas del Valle: Summer Series 2025

The public is invited to our summertime Lunadas del Valle, an arts, music, and literature event on the First Saturday of each month in summer: June 7th, July 5th, and August 2nd, 2025--starting at 7 p.m. at CommonSpace Coffee Shop in McAllen.

While, traditionally, a lunada was a cultural celebration held outdoors for hundreds of years in Mexico under a full moon, ours will be indoors and/or outdoors, since we do live in the sweltering heat of the Rio Grande Valley.

**Featured readers and musicians will each have ten to 12 minutes to perform, with almost an hour of open mic to follow.

Open mic reader will have up to 3 minutes. Featured readers and musicians will be listed in the comments. Schedule and featured readers are subject to change. Some events may not have open mic segment.
