Contract Wars is a Faction vs Faction direct conflict for control over the region. Factions are led by ASW affiliates and staff at the command level. Raid Groups are led by individual players. Players may form their own raid groups and squads of any size either before or during the event and will be given direct kinetic tasking by command. This event is designed to lightly emulate direct contact between the two forces. Raid groups are given freedom on how to accomplish their objectives and POI capture. The event format will introduce our new Territory Wars game mode. Capturable two story Skirmesh control panels which are mounted at critical and balanced Points of Interest throughout the facility. Point will be tallied every hour on the hour, forcing factions to DEFEND points, and allowing for clever maneuvers and upsets.
There are several special capturable points that result in strategic perks for whoever holds them.
1. Airfield: Allows for a deep strike deployment per faction per hour.
2. Auto Repair: allows for deployment of support GMV Humvee.
3. Old Scav Compound: allows for forward respawn. (5 min spawn timer)
4. Prison Complex: allows for forward respawn. (5 min spawn timer)
5. North FOB: Allows for forward respawn.
6. South FOB: Allows for forward respawn.
7. FORMER RUSFED CHECKPOINT: allows for staff operated vehicle insertion to the SW of the facility. More to be added. Eventually we would like each POI to have an accompanying perk.
There is NO Loot System. There is NO Issued/Looted Ammo. There is NO armor system. Hit/Med: You may carry up to 4 bandages. You may be bandaged 2 times. You may reset your bandages by visiting a forward spawn or DZ.
Deployment: Both factions will have an edge of field Deployment Zone. This is a small area out of play. This is NOT your FOB. Your FOB is a capture point.
Faction Identification and Uniform Requirements: This event is NOT green vs tan. Faction armbands are provided at check in and must be turned in end of day. USEC: Dual Armbands, Green BEAR: Dual Armbands, Orange High Vis are worn OVERTOP & VISIBLE. Failure to do so is an ejection.
Replica chrono and categories: ASW standard rules apply, see stickied post or website. -Midcaps only. -No mag conversions. Your replica must use the correct mag. Mag taps are fine but must be the same caliber and midcap only. -Drum Mags for automatic rifles (RPK, L86, MG36, unaltered M27) and LMGs. Midcaps also allowed for Automatic Rifles. -LMGs are purpose made support platforms only. No absurd chop downs. No drum mags in basic rifles.
Night Play: After 5pm the regular low light rules apply. You must have any one or combo: Light on when firing. Flash simulator. Tracer with tracer bbs.

10:00 am Deployment and Game Start.

0200pm 2nd Brief and Chrono for late arrivals.
0500pm Evening Break for night prep.

TICKETS: $40 n/a skirmesh chip or $50 w/ skirmesh chip at the door. (Skirmesh chips are required in order to capture points, chips purchased at previous contract wars may be used for this one)
