Cycle into History 5.0

Our favorite city-wide history tour is back for the Summer! This year, Cycle into History, led and hosted by Local History Volunteer Curator Chris Suerdieck, will take cyclists down memory lane to rediscover the origins of Mattoon's beloved parks.

"When did they build Lytle Pool?"
"Why is Lytle not a City Park?"
"Who built the stone all at Peterson Park?"
"When was the Babe Ruth World Series at Lawson?"

Join us for a slow-paced bicycle ride to visit Matton Parks and learn the answers to these and other questions! The ride begins and ends at our beautiful Carnegie Library!
