Chugga chugga choo choo... whistle blowing whoo whoo!

This week is for those train lovers in our midst. Don your best conductor or train outfits and join us at the historical miniature railroad in Mars, PA for a choo choo story and a ride on a real train! It is located at 1 Brickyard Rd, Mars, PA 16046.

This week's storytime is on Friday as that is when the free train rides and other free events are offered. Due to the nature of this being a public event, Storytime will not have any organized activities after the story. We will plan to meet to read the story behind the railroad in the small grassy field and then separate to enjoy all that the Mars Area History and Landmarks Society's volunteers have to offer. Look for Miss Nan in her green storytime shirt! The volunteers offer train stamps, wooden train sets to play with, coloring pages and more going on at the train station. And of course FREE train rides! There are also several small museums to tour on site with volunteers to answer any questions. There is a public bathroom available.
