Bakes and Beers - The Longest Day event to benefit the Alzheimer's Association

Join Sweet Betsy Farm and Refinery 13 Taproom in the fight to help end Alzheimer’s by raising funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Longest Day® is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. Alzheimer’s disease has touched so many lives, maybe even yours. But you can help. With your donation families can receive support on their Alzheimer’s journey, promising research can advance toward a future without Alzheimer’s and lives can — and will — be changed.

We have two ways you can participate! At 5pm on Friday June 20, Refinery 13 will be opening their doors for a unique event with a curated flight of NC beer and cider designed to compliment a freshly baked SBF Bakes cookie bar tasting plate. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each item will be donated to Alzheimer's Association and cash sales are appreciated. Additional baked goods will also be available to take home and enjoy.

The other way you can participate is by making a donation directly to The Longest Day at http://act.alz.org/goto/BakesandBeers The first 15 people to donate $25 or more before Wednesday June 18 will receive a custom box of home-baked cookie bars which can be picked up on June 20 at from 12pm - 2pm at Sweet Betsy Farm or after 5pm at Refinery 13.
